On the shelves of stores now it is difficult to find high-quality chocolate, without chemical additives. Usually such chocolate is not cheap, and is exported from other countries. But even in it, manufacturers manage to add preservatives, so that the product is better preserved for a long time.

The optimal solution may be to make chocolate at home. This takes very little time, and immerses You in the amazing process of creativity, because there is no way to perfection: chocolate can be made bitter, sweet, with coconut shavings, with nuts, etc.

Homemade chocolate recipe

To make chocolate we need:

  • Cocoa beans or cocoa powder
  • Coconut or cane sugar (you can use regular)
  • Coconut or cocoa butter
  • Spices to taste (it can be: coconut shavings, sesame, red pepper, nuts, etc)
  • Molds for ice

Recipe by step:

1. Cocoa beans need to be ground into a powder. We advise you to do it yourself, because of all the purchased cocoa powders, none of them gave such a rich taste as just ground cocoa beans.

2. Depending on the ratio of sugar and cocoa, chocolate turns out to be more or less sweet.

Add sugar to taste.

3. Also add other ingredients and spices to taste.

4. Add the oil a little at a time, the liquid should be as thick as possible.

5. After that, in order to dissolve the sugar and ensure a more uniform distribution of flavors, the chocolate is put on a slow fire, and mixed.
At the same time, it becomes as liquid as possible.

6. After dissolving the sugar, the chocolate is poured into molds and placed in the refrigerator (freezer)

7. After 30 minutes, the chocolate hardens, and it can be removed from the molds
